Indoor Halloween Decorations

Need to decorate the inside of your home for Halloween? Are you entertaining and need to spruce up your dinner and/or dessert table?

Well we fell in love with Martha Stewart's idea of glitter pumpkins. Spread small black, grey, silver, and white glitter pumpkins around the table for a great Halloween look!

How to:

First paint them black, then apply tacky glue to half of each pumpkin using a paintbrush. Hold pumpkin over a bowl filled with glitter. Spoon glitter over glued surface, making certain the glitter falls into all the crevices and sockets, and any excess lands back in the bowl. Place on a plate or tray and let dry for at least 1 hour. Tap or brush off any excess glitter. Repeat gluing and glittering on uncoated surface of each pumpkin until completely covered, and touch up other areas as needed.

Justin Bieber to Launch Fragrance Collection

Bieber fever is coming again...

The teenage popstar is bursting into the celebrity fragrance scene, but with a twist. Bieber has teamed up with Etoile Nation Beauty to introduce wristbands and dog tags infused with a unisex fragrance called My World. The scented accessories are set to launch in WalMart stores on Black Friday.

Can you say GENIUS! This is a product and product placement hole in one. We predict that Bierber fever and accessibility will cause this product to fly off the shelves come Black Friday.

Bleed Heart Martini

2 ounces dry vermouth

8 ounces premium gin
Ice cubes
4 Pickled Baby Beets Recipe

Chill 4 martini glasses in the freezer or fill with ice water and let sit until frosty, about 5 minutes (pour out water). Add the vermouth, dividing evenly; swirl to coat the glasses, then pour out. Add gin to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until chilled; divide among chilled glasses. Garnish each with a skewered pickled baby beet, and serve immediately.

October - Breast Cancer Awareness

October is breast cancer awareness month.

This month, stores, shops and communities make an extra effort to openly support causes for breast cancer. According to the National Breast Cancer website, "each year it is estimated that nearly 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and approximately 1,700 men will also be diagnosed with breast cancer."

We love the holidays! We know the holiday season is approaching when the pumpkin spice latte appears at Starbucks and pumpkins beginning popping up around town.
