Back on Track - Post Holiday Breakfast

We hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!

One often overindulges during the holidays and is left feeling somewhat sluggish post-holiday. Get back on track and re-energize with a healthy smart breakfast!

We recommend:
Yogurt filled cantaloupe - Cut a cantaloupe in half and scoop out the seeds. Fill the hole with six ounces of nonfat Greek vanilla yogurt. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of granola and five fresh raspberries.
Use a spoon to scoop bites right out of the cantaloupe peel. You don't even need to bother with dirtying a dish.

Protein Pancakes - 1/4 cup egg whites, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1/2 mashed banana, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbs flaxseed, Add a handful of fresh or frozen blueberries after the above ingredients are mixed together.

Pour into a pan that has been sprayed with olive oil cooking spray- heat on medium. Cook one side until you see little bubbles. Flip over and cook on the other size until the middle is done. Top with two sliced strawberries and powdered stevia.

Another great staple is steel cut oatmeal made with almond or soy milk and topped with blueberries and almonds.
