4th of July Sweet Treats

Do you celebrate the 4th of July with red, white, and blue sweet treats?

There are so many great ideas for RWB baking and decorating!

Some of our favorites:
*Decorate red velvet cupcakes with blue star toppings.

*Pretzel Sparklers (pictured)
- To make 2 dozen, place 4 ounces chopped semisweet chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Stir occasionally until melted; remove from heat. Using a pastry brush, coat the upper third of each pretzel rod in chocolate. Cover with sprinkles; stand pretzels upright in a glass. Place in the refrigerator until firm, about 5 minutes.

* Patriotic yogurt parfait
- Layer vanilla yogurt, strawberries, and blueberries in a small glass, like a shot glass. Serve chilled.

* Mixed berry salad with mint
- Whisk together 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur. Gently fold in strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves.
