The beauty brand, Origins, is launching a new recycling program dubbed "Return to Origins," which will officially kick off April 2. On April 2, Origins will being to accept any and all cosmetics packaging - tubes, bottles, caps, jars, compacts, etc. - for recycling both in stores and at its department store counters.
Jane Lauder, Vice President and general manager of Origins, noted that according to the Environmental Protection Agency, consumer goods packaging currently accounts for about 1/3 of all landfill waste.
